f you were in New York City over the weekend you may have stumbled across an Easter egg containing the pretty, pretty face of Ryan Gosling -- everyone's favorite actor/meme subject.
If you were one of the lucky finders, you were gifted with a pic of Gosling, along with a spicy phrase and a prompt to visit a Twitter account. "Hop on over to my house already," read one. "Happy Easter from Ryan Gosling."
Of course, Gosling is much too busy saving people from getting hit by cars andmaking appearances in people's witty Tumblrs to play Easter bunny in NYC. The woman responsible for the hunt is Jenna Livingston, an advertising copywriter who said the project was a fun way of "interacting with people."
She also set up a Twitter account, @GoslingEaster, where thrilled egg finders could post their discoveries, and those hunting for some Easter love could get clues. In true Easter spirit, some people took pictures of their discoveries, read the note, and then replaced the egg for someone else to find.
"People are really loving stumbling upon eggs," Livingston said, and the Twitter followers on @GoslingEaster seem to agree: "@GoslingEaster is the best thing I've ever seen. Ever." tweeted @GirlAloud.
Looks like the Gosling love train is still chug-a-lugging on.
